Platinum rock band 311 announce their 14th studio album, Full Bloom, will be out on October 25. Coinciding with the announcement, the band released their new tune “Need Somebody.”
“We hope fans can take from this album 311’s message of positivity and unity. In today’s world, it’s so easy to become alienated by the pressures of everyday life. Whether it’s social media, stress at work, an illness, the list goes on,” the band state.
It’s 311’s first full-length project in five years following the album Voyager in 2019. The new music is already generating buzz. Full Bloom’s first single “You’re Gonna Get It” is the band’s highest charting song in 13 years after it cracked the top 15 on Alternative Radio.
“It’s so important to stay open with your loved ones and community so we can all thrive in full bloom,” 311 continue.
With 10 million records sold in the United States, the Omaha, Nebraska natives have struck gold time and time again. 311 mixe rock, rap, reggae and funk into a hybrid sound, an innovative style when the band formed 33 years ago. Now, they’re one of the longest running original lineups in rock.
