408 released a new age, pop-punk track ahead of their anticipated LP. “College Kids” recently dropped along with band announcing they’ll play at the So What?! Music Festival in Dallas, Texas.
“’College Kids’ was written about Mark’s time at the University of Central Florida. The song goes into detail on his old friend group and how it fell apart. Self-reflection and reminiscing are the songs mantra,” the band say.
“College Kids” follow 408’s popular release “We Don’t Get High Like We Used To,” which helped boost their monthly Spotify streams by over 100,000 listeners. “College Kids” is a fast-paced track, cleanly produced and excellently written. It oozes summer appeal and fits graduation season.
Both tracks follow 408’s debut album Out Of It which dropped in October. The band will play on the Saturday date of So What?! Music Festival.
