News: A Place To Bury Strangers Announce New Album ‘See Through You’

A Place to Bury Strangers by Heather Bickford

A Place To Bury Strangers have announced their sixth album See Through You, out February 22, 2022 on the band’s own Dedstrange label. Lead single “Let’s See Each Other” delivers the signature combination of noisy, gloomy pop associated with Brooklyn band.

Like the best of A Place To Bury Strangers’ catalog, “Let’s See Each Other” highlights the contorted sounds of effect pedals and synthesizers that are associated with band leader Oliver Ackerman, founder of effects company Death By Audio.

The new album will follow A Place To Bury Strangers’ Hologram EP released earlier this year. That release was not only the first on the Dedstrange label but the first to feature the new lineup of Ackerman joined by bassist John Fedowitz and drummer Sandra Fedowitz.

Coinciding with the release, the band will embark on a world tour. A full list of dates can be found below. Pre-order See Through You here.
