Hardrock and metalcore band Against The Sun release their newest song “JAD.” It’s the California-based group’s second single of the year and features fellow rockers Chasing Desolation.
“JAD tackles the horrors of gun violence, how it affects us personally, and as a society,” the band say.
The aggressive track and quick-twitch music video reflect the angst surrounding the conversation of gun violence. The music video lists the areas of tragic mass shootings that earned nationwide attention with black-and-white video in the background correlating with the noted locations.
“The song serves as a plea to never let these tragedies become normal, to never let them become ‘just another day,’” the band continue.
