The holidays aren’t everyone’s favorite time of the year, and The Black Angels’ vocalist, Alex Maas, has put out a new track to show the divide between the joyous and challenging times the season brings.
Alex Maas put out his debut solo album, Luca, back in 2020. After focusing on new material for The Black Angels, Maas returns with a new single inspired by the holidays.

“I’ve never written a Christmas song. Christmas has a very dark side that not many people take into account. The holidays are as painful as they are beautiful for most people. This song is for people who fall in love during Christmas and for those who want to escape completely from the holiday.”
