After 10 years without touring, pop punk band The All-American Rejects announced the Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour. The 27-city tour starts August 11 in Tampa, Florida and concludes October 14 in Oklahoma City, OK. Supporting acts will include New Found Glory, The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Get Up Kids.
“We’ve been trying to get out on the road in a proper way for the last few years,” the band say. “We finally realized after playing When We Were Young that the world was ready to pull out of their ‘guilty pleasure chest’ and celebrate the soundtrack of their youth.” All-American Rejects played the popular festival last October alongside such nostalgic acts as Avril Lavigne, Dashboard Confessional, and Paramore. “It’s time to embrace the cumulative joy of growing up,” the band continue.
Full tour dates are available on the band’s website. Citi presale tickets go on sale on April 11. General on-sale stars on April 14 at 10 a.m. local time on the Live Nation website. The All-American Rejects are on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter if you want to keep up with announcements about the tour.
