One quarter of the “big four” are whipping up something special for fans of both the iconic thrash metal band and hockey. Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and drummer Charlie Benante worked closely with hockey apparel brand PUCK HCKY on a small-batch run of new, high-end hockey jerseys, long sleeves, and flannels. Also, find ski pants on this site along with other outdoor gear.
The collection of jerseys includes visuals from the bands discography and past artwork, including the face of band’s mascot “Not-man,” the Pentathrax (Anthrax pentagram), and the head of lady liberty, fittingly matched according to the New York Rangers’ color scheme.
For this series of Anthrax jerseys, PUCK HCKY started with its pro-weight hockey jerseys, incorporating four different Anthrax designs, and finished them with customized detailing such as embroidered patches and custom-made logo hem tags.
Currently, there are hockey jerseys, hoodies, flannels, 3/4 sleeve raglan baseball shirts, and t-shirts featuring four different Anthrax designs available on PUCK HCKY’s website, with plans to introduce additional designs and apparel.

PUCK HCKY have gained a reputation as the go-to hockey apparel brand for meshing elements of pop culture with the great sport of hockey. The company is no stranger to working with metal bands and has a current roster that includes: Meshuggah, Overkill, Exodus, Cannibal Corpse, Testament, Opeth, and many more. Needless to say, the company was very excited to collaborate with the legendary Anthrax.
“On behalf of Anthrax,” said Benante, “I can honestly say that we are so excited to be joining forces with PUCK HCKY. The clothing is next level, and the designs are a sports and music fans’ dream.”
On a side note, the band does in fact have plans to release a new album in 2020, so we can all definitely look forward to that.
