Anxious just announced that their second album, Bambi, will drop on February 21, 2025, through Run For Cover Records. This new record follows their acclaimed debut, Little Green House, released in 2022.
To kick things off, they’ve shared the first single from the album, “Counting Sheep.” Guitarist and co-vocalist Dante Melucci shared his excitement about the track, revealing that he drew inspiration from the sound of Gorillaz’s debut album.
“I wanted to capture that energy, and once I developed the melody and the rhythm, I knew I had something special. The song is about lethargy and the tendency to evade problems out of fear of confronting them.”
