News: Arrows In Action Release First Full-Length Album

Arrows In Action

Arrows in Action release their first full-length album Built To Last, a 13-track gem filled with collabs and solo tracks that reflect the band’s talent and versatility. It dropped on May, 26.

“Writing Built To Last helped us ease the bitter part of that bitter sweet feeling you get when moving away from home for the first time,” the band say in an Instagram post. “It deals with the comedown from that high. When all the new things stop being new and start being normal.”

‘Built To Last’ features a handful of scene heavy hitters and fellow fast risers. Loveless and Magnolia Park join the band on the popular tune “The Credits.” The Home Team, which reflects a similar career trajectory as Arrows in Action, collaborate on the upbeat “Wide Eyes.”

Kyle Black, who produced work from State Champs and Point North, among others, helped create the later of those collabs.

But the band shine the brightest on tracks like “Over It” and “Head In The Clouds,” two winners on the streaming platforms. “Entropy” is an artistically aggressive song that will likely join those two as favorites. But there so many to choose from on an album perfectly reflects on that 20-something’s slug through the challenges of life.

“Many of these songs tackle the feeling of not belonging in the space you’ve put yourself in,” the band continue. “There’s frustration, first with others, then with yourself. Then there’s acceptance and owning your individuality… We felt it was important to say at the end of all this self-discovery; we’re here, and we’re here for good.”
