Still Nervous was written and recorded in the same spider-infested garage that their self-titled debut was birthed. It is considered to be the “greatest follow-up record in the entire recorded history of recording follow-up records.” An album release show has been announced in London, United Kindom, however it has already sold out.
Bad Nerves are considered to be the bastard child of a Ramones/Strokes one night stand. They drew acclaimed for their debut releases: “Dreaming,” “Baby Drummer,” and “Can’t Be Mine.” They also appear to be a notable name within the DNA of rock music, specifically punk. Their debut album, left a major impression in hearts of alternative fans and musicians. Some include tastemakers from the United Kingdom such as Dan P. Carter to Alyx Holcombe to Jack Saunders. They’ve even piqued the interest of rock legends such as Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard.
Bad Nerves have recently just completed a sold out tour with The HIves, Royal Blood and Wine Lips across the United Kingdom and the United States. However they’ve already got another tour booked, set to be their biggest headline show thus far.
Frontman, Bobby BIrd on “Sorry”:
““Sorry” was a song that popped into my mind fully formed early one morning. The lead guitar riff and drum beat dropped out of the sky. I went to the studio that day and tracked it all. The final version was recorded to the same tempo that I played it that day. I was bored of writing Bad Nerves tracks so this was meant to be a break from that, but once I’d finished it, it felt like it might actually give the new record a bit of variation that the first record didn’t have.”
