News: Between You & Me Release EP ‘SH!T YEAH’

Between You & Me

One of pop punk’s flag bearers, Between You & Me, put out a fresh slap of music with the release of their new EP SH!T YEAH. It follows the band’s recent, soaring single “In The Middle.”

“‘In The Middle’ is about the realization that your relationship is over,” vocalist JT says. “The strong joy and excitement you once brought to each other’s lives had been replaced with fighting, bitterness and a complete breakdown in communication.”

SH!T YEAH is stacked with some of the band’s best work. “Kill My Vibe” opens the six-song collection as a throwback, pop-punk banger featuring the boys from Knuckle Puck. “In The Middle” feels tailored made for packed concert while “Nevermind” is a bouncy, earwormy tune with an infectious hook.

“Every Morning” feels different than anything the band have done in the past, while “YEAH!” is perfect for a windows down road trip, and “Sad Songs” closes out the EP with a little edge.

SH!T YEAH is the band’s first independent body of work and was supported by a massive, cross-country tour with Young Culture. If it’s any direction of Between You & Me’s sound going forward, fans will be pleased. Keep a close eye on the band here.
