With the long list of record store day releases comes much hubbub and excitement as fans find favorites among the titles. One of those releases for Record Store Day UK 2020 will be Blanck Mass’ 2011 self-titled debut album.
The long-out-of-print album marked the introduction of Blanck Mass, the solo project of Benjamin John Powers, to the world. The album reached a broader audience when its second track “Sundowner,” was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra as part of the 2012 Olympics’ opening ceremony.
The release, out via Sacred Bones Records, will make the deluxe double-LP available on April 18, Record Store Day in the UK, and April 24 in the rest of the world.
