The Finnish band Blind Channel has announced that they will take an indefinite break at the end of this year. In a message posted on their social media on October 7, the group shared their decision with fans.
“Over the last four years, we have experienced more than we ever dreamed possible. After two studio albums and 300 concerts around the world, it’s time to extinguish the candle before it burns at both ends.”
Blind Channel rose to international fame after their participation in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Dark Side.” Since then, the band have released two albums that marked significant milestones in their career: Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous in 2022 and Exit Emotions earlier this year, both reaching number one on the charts in their home country, Finland.

Before taking this break, the band have some projects in the pipeline. In December, they will release a documentary that delves into their journey.
