Blood Brothers’ seminal record, Crimes, celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 14. To celebrate, the group have announced a limited edition re-issue vinyl package that will be going out on October 4.

The deluxe, 20th anniversary limited collector’s edition of Crimes will include an expanded double LP with B-Sides and etching, alongside a 20-page booklet with new liner notes and photos. The Epitaph online store will carry 1200 copies of a black and baby blue A-Side/B-Side vinyl, while Smartpunk will have 300 copies of the baby blue and bubblegum pink half-and-half vinyl on deck. In addition to all of this, there’ll be 1700 copies of the bubblegum pink and baby blue A-Side/B-Side vinyl available at retail stores worldwide.

“As we’ve been putting together the 20th anniversary re-issue of Crimes, what I’m struck by most listening back is the energy. It feels both feral and weirdly focused, like whatever chmistry we’d been tinkering with had finally crystallized. It was on stage, though, where that energy reached its most joyful, reckless, collective state. It’s an experience that never really goes away and one we wanted to share again. So we’ll be playing a handful of shows this fall. We hope to see you there.”
Alongside the news of the 20th anniversary, Blood Brothers are returning to touring after a 10-year hiatus with a string of headlining shows set for this fall and winter.
