The Bouncing Souls have announced their signing with Pure Noise Records. The band additionally shared new single “World On Fire,” recorded just as the Covid-19 pandemic began, as part of the announcement. Produced by Will Yip (The Menzingers, Tigers Jaw, Turnstile), “World On Fire” finds the band emphasizing the power pop classicism in their songwriting.

“We were in the studio when the pandemic was just beginning to get a head of steam,” says guitarist Pete Steinkopf. “There were so many question marks and no one really knew what was going on, this song came out of that moment. It came out of the question marks and the not knowing. This is a song to acknowledge how upside down the world seems to be in these times, and it’s a song about keeping the light in sight.”

The signing and single follow last year’s Crucial Moments EP, released during The Bouncing Souls 30th anniversary as a band.
