Augustus Muller (Boy Harsher) has announced and released his new album, My Animal (Original Score), debuting Muller’s new venture as a feature film composer.
Muller will be providing the score for the movie My Animal – written by Jae Matthews (Boy Harsher), directed by Jacqueline Castel, starring Bobbi Salvör Menuez (Euphoria) and Amandla Stenberg (Bodies Bodies Bodies).
Primarily using hardware and analog synthesizers, Muller wrote and recorded My Animal (Original Score) in his home studio in Northampton, Massachusetts. Utilizing modern soundscapes mixed with undeniable 80’s sounds and influences, Muller’s score aids in accentuating the plot line of genre-bending horror romance My Animal.
Muller sites music written by Klaus Schulze (Angst), as well as John Carpenter (Assault on Precinct 13) as his main inspiration.
My Animal (Original Score) is available now digitally, and physical copies will be available December 1st, via Nude Club Records.
