Alternative and pop punk band Boys of Fall reflect a turn towards contemporary emo in its new release, “Almost Happy.” The heartfelt single is the first release from the band this year.
“The lyrics tell a story of a love so deep yet broken by the change of time,” the band say. “Seeing someone who they are and knowing it will never work.”
“Almost Happy” is the first single off the band’s upcoming, fourth studio album. Boys of Fall says the new music builds off its past work. The upcoming album utilizes elements from the previous three, but a “push forward in melody.”
“We are so excited to finally release this music, and we can’t wait for you to hear the rest!” the band continue.
The Detroit natives are planning a handful of upcoming shows in support of the new music, including a homecoming performance on December 9.
