News: Canada’s Cawston Release ‘Strangers’

Canadian pop-punkers Cawston return with new music, releasing the bouncy track “Strangers.” The song smoothly blends the vocals of AJ Perdomo from The Dangerous Summer with the band’s signature sound.

“We’ve all been through a break up, but going through a friend breakup just hits different,” the band say. “’Strangers’ is a best friend break up anthem.”

The track is the band’s first release of the new year and an early pop punk hit. It builds nicely, ebbing and flowing from chorus to verse. The production is crisp. And Perdomo’s vocals compliment Cawston singer Jenna Urbas-Johnson’s perfectly.

“Wether you’re listening in the own comfort of your car or sending it to the person that ghosted you, ‘Strangers’ is the perfect song to help you go through the emotions and something everyone can relate to,” the band continue.

Cawston sounds like it should be touring across Canada and the United States. With more releases, you expect more success for the up-and-coming scene stars.
