Saskatoon alternative rock crew Autopilot have dropped a head-spinning Sin City based visual for their latest single, “Unwound.”

The release comes as the Canadian outfit continue to impress across the continent. Recognized at home with a nomination at the Saskatchewan Music Awards, the band are currently wowing audiences on the U.S. West Coast, as their thrilling North American headline tour enters its final leg.

Speaking on the video shoot, frontman Marlon Harder explains: “’Unwound’ was filmed in Las Vegas, through the night and into the morning. We wanted to capture a solitary madness while being surrounded by the chaotic allure of the Vegas lights. The video portrays an internal battle getting stuck in your thoughts and becoming unwound in your own head. In the end, the sun comes up to symbolize a chance to start again.”

Canadian Musician Magazine calls them “one of the hardest working bands in the country,” and it’s easy to see why. The last year has seen Autopilot tirelessly tour North America, releasing four singles in the process.

With their much anticipated album nearing completion, the Saskatoon crew follow up the release of “Say Something” and “Feverish Dreams” with latest release “Unwound.” The track is an unerringly moreish delivery, displaying Autopilot’s nuanced ability to craft glistening pop sensibility alongside groovy guitar lines and anthemic choruses.
