New Jersey emo/pop-punkers Can’t Swim have released another single called “must be nice (metaphorically speaking)” off their album Thanks But No Thanks, which is already out now via Pure Noise Records.
Speaking about the track, singer Chris LoPorto explains that the song is about the path he might have taken had he made different choices in his life. “Lyrically, it’s about a path my life would have taken if I didn’t find music,” he says. “Drinking and doing drugs, working a dead-end job in my hometown. Reflecting over the last few years being on tour and seeing where I would have ended up without this band is the summary of the track. ”
