Carnifex are to mark their return with their ninth full-length studio album, Necromanteum, which will be released on October 6 through Nuclear Blast Records. Ahead of the album’s release, the band have also released the next single from the album entitled, “Death’s Forgotten Children.” The song features Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin.

Carnifex’s Scott Ian Lewis shares his thoughts:
“I really had a great time working with Tom. Not only did we collaborate on the vocal patterns, but we co-wrote the lyrics, which is something I’ve never done before. The song came out great, and we both hope the fans love it as much as we do.”
According to the press release:
“This fall, Carnifex will head across the U.S. on their Necromanteum Tour. The 24-date trek will kick off on October 10 in Arizona and will make stops in Dallas, Columbus, and Denver before concluding on November 11 in Los Angeles. Joining the band each night are Signs Of The Swarm, To The Grave, and The Last Ten Seconds Of Life.”
