The absolutely punishing lineup and lengthy tour cycle is in support of Cattle Decapitation’s upcoming ninth studio album, Death Atlas. Possibly the band’s bleakest offering to date with its chilling cover and lyrical themes, vocalist Travis Ryan explains that “The core concept of this record is humanity’s insignificance despite what we’ve convinced ourselves.” This concept, alongside returning industry legend Dave Otero and a wide variety of guest musicians, is making Death Atlas one of the most anticipated releases of 2019. The album is set to release on November 29th via Metal Blade Records.

The band have also released “The Unerasable Past,”  a short film by Wes Benscoter. The video features some of the tracks off of the upcoming album alongside Benscoter striking art. It is a culmination of having worked with the group for 18 years and is his first ever music video.
