Swiss band Coilguns have released their new single “Bandwagoning” from their upcoming fourth studio album Odd Love. The song is accompanied by a highly satisfying music video shot and edited by Valentin Lurthy.

Lead vocalist Louis Jucker shares his thoughts about the song:
“This is our noisy way to tell how little and lonely we sometimes feel in front of the big bad ones and our determination not to surrender, to cherish our freakiness, make it a strength.”
He also talks about how the new album came to be:
“The starting point for the process of the new record was to go back to where Coilguns actually started, which was Jona writing songs and asking us to arrange them with him. Nido wrote and prepared 14 demos to show Hess, Jucker, and Galland. They worked on the songs together but intentionally let the collection sit for weeks or even months afterward before revisiting some songs whose meaning had changed for them. It made us go into so much detail that we’ve never had the time to go into. We had decided to break all patterns. We knew that we were at the end of a certain era.”
