Alt-rapper Cold Hart had a big week: fresh off of the announcement of his forthcoming, sophomore album Every Day Is A Day, due August 27, he also shared the single “Wild Wild West,” with a new music video.

The song finds Cold Hart revisiting his hometown, Long Beach, and recalling days spent speeding down the freeway, grabbing burgers, and taking in the sights and sounds of the beachside city.

Cold Hart has been at the forefront of the current alternative hip-hop/rock scene since 2013, as a vocalist, songwriter, and producer consistently fusing together seemingly unrelated genres like rap, emo, gothic rock, even country.

The album was written over the course of the pandemic, weaving together his new experiences of fatherhood, living on Long Island and experiencing the winter cold, and the will to stay present and persevere despite challenging circumstances.
