The collaboration project between Chelsea Wolfe and Converge have announced their first United States shows scheduled for this April. The project joins the members of Converge (Jacob Bannon, Kurt Ballou, Nate Newton, and Ben Koller) with Chelsea Wolfe and her collaborator, Ben Chisholm, as well with Stephen Brodsky of Cave In.
The group began in 2016 with a series of performances in Europe where the group played “ambient post-rock interpretations” of Converge songs and were described as limited performances. In 2019 the group got together to record with their debut full-length Bloodmoon: I featuring the same lineup. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic postponed the albums release.
The album received widespread acclaim as the group combined the powerful and bashing energy of Converge with the gothic moods of Chelsea Wolfe and the enlightened spirit of Cave In. The album elevates Converge’s already acclaimed repertoire and further established Chelsea Wolfe as a key voice in the current heavy music landscape.

With the release of the album, the group will bring their live performances to the U.S. for the first time on April 9 in Boston as the Roadrunner and April 10 at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 4 at noon at convergecult.com.
The band will be supported by fellow metal bands Caspian, Liturgy and more TBA.
