Alternative band Cosmic Ninja release their eclectic new EP Filth after a stretch of shows and projects that took the U.K. by storm. It’s the band’s most accomplished and exciting work to date.
Major scene names contributed to the new music, including John Mitchell, who worked with Enter Shikari and Architects. He recorded Filth at the famous Outhouse Studios in Reading. Mitchell worked with the band to help their punk ethos shine, with energy and intensity throughout.
The electronics are dizzying with plenty of huge riffs interlaced. Cosmic Ninja’s EP is angst filled with plenty of diversity and guile. The standout track of Filth is “Stone Cold.” It’s as dynamic and unpredictable as anything you’ve listened to in a while.
Filth is blessed with an abundance of awe-inspiring moments of creativity, and there is a plenty of socially-conscious messaging.
