L.A.-based punk band Crisis Actor have released a new, conscious single called “What’s A Good Cop?” The song demonstrates their unique style, combing afrobeat rhythms with classic post-punk riffs a la Gang of Four, with the perspicacious and righteous social commentary of the Dead Kennedys.
On “What’s A Good Cop?” Crisis Actor put forth a simple question to the listener: “[I]n a world where the bar for a bad cop is outright murder on camera on a public street, what’s a good cop then?”
