News: Danny Goo Drops ‘Like Heroin’ Music Video

Solo alternative artist Danny Goo drops a music video for his latest track “Like Heroin.” The scenic video features Goo walking along a bridge, captured by gorgeous, golden hour videography interlaced with concert shots.

“Vividly portray the agony of a toxic relationship, likening it to the intensity of heroin,” Goo says, describing the song “Though it may sound extreme, it resonates deeply with me.”

The track itself is a bouncy, pop-punk tune with an edge. Goo flashes the scene-perfect vocals, clearly cut from the same cloth as a Huddy or Games We Play. Stylistically, he is probably somewhere in between.

“Through the heartful lyrics and a powerful pop-rock sound, this song dives into the struggle of breaking free from destructive patterns, only to be lured back by family dynamics,” Goo continues. “This track represents one of the most intense expressions of a relationship and I’m incredibly proud of it.”

Talented drummer Demario McDow performs at shows with Goo and can be seen in the music video. A handful of ultra gifted artists helped out with the song. The rising West Coast-based Goo recently performed at Fresh Fest in Los Angeles. Keep an eye out for more songs and shows from him here.
