Orange County up-and-comers DARE (bassist Aaron McQueen, vocalist Angel Garcia, and drummer Anaiah Lei) are preparing to unleash their intense, infectious sound on their upcoming album, Against All Odds, due August 20. Ahead of the action, they have released their second single, titled “Hard To Cope.”

The song is introspective and deeply personal, touching on the struggles that humans can face when life becomes too much to manage. The song also features guest vocals from Scott Vogel (Terror, World Be Free), who says, “DARE is my favorite band in hardcore right now … straight-edge hardcore from Orange County done to perfection.”

Ahead of their album release, DARE already had own their identity and sound. Vocalist Angel Garcia says, “We’re not afraid to sound a little out there and do our own thing, and we never have been. We represent the straight edge and all the people of color out there. Everything this band is would be nothing without our friends, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.”
