Singer songwriter David Hobbes releases his latest album Searching For A Home. It’s a ten song collection that showcases the challenges of being human and David’s evolution as both a songwriter and musician.
“For me, it represents a feeling that I am still searching for the place that truly feels like home,” Hobbes explains.
Merging folk and rock elements, the album features distinct rhythms and lyrics, conveying a longing to belong. The diverse range of instrumentation is also an impressive touch.
Fans of electric solos as well as piano ballads will find something to their liking on the collection. Producers Rachel Efron and AJ Hicks also contribute on the backing vocals.
“First and foremost, I see myself as a storyteller,” Hobbes continues. “I put a lot of effort into this and I want the music to be satisfying and fulll of variety. I think we have achieved that here.”
Searching For A Home oozes Ben Folds vibes and is available on all streaming platforms. Keep a close eye on Hobbes and his work here.
