To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic The Photo Album, Death Cab For Cutie have announced a huge, 35-track deluxe reissue featuring b-sides, rarities, and much more.
The digital version is out now, and the album can also be pre-ordered on vinyl. Amongst the 35 tracks, fans will find b-sides, rarities, covers, all of the original demos for the record, and a newly remastered version of the album.
There’s plenty of easter eggs on the record too, including the original demo of “Information Travels Faster,” which features alternative lyrics. The early iteration of the song’s lyrics go: “I wish that I could sneak attach a tether from here to there / and extend it from my wrist to span the Atlantic and pull you near,” alluding to what would come two years later on Transatlanticism.
Check out the demo version of “Information Travels Faster” below. Listen to the full, deluxe album ,and preorder a vinyl copy here.
