Defeated Sanity have announced their upcoming seventh album Chronicles of Lunacy, which will be released on November 22 through Season of Mist. The band have also released a new single from the album. The new single, “The Odour of Sanctity,” is accompanied by a music video created by Obscenery Films.

Band’s drummer and founding member Lille Gruber shares his thoughts:
“The last few DS albums leaned heavily on the proggier side of our sound. We still like to experiment, but on our new album, we wanted to get back to the raw slamming that our fans love about ‘Psalms of the Moribund’ or ‘Chapters of Repugnance.’”
