Tonight, Denver will once again prove it’s the go-to spot for brutal, introspective death metal as it showcases music from Oryx, Chthonic Deity, and Zygrot.
All three of the bands tearing it up tonight at Hi-Dive in Denver prove that the town is not only the best spot for death metal, boasting the likes of Blood Incantation as local favorites, but also a badass spot for intersectional death metal. Every band on the bill tonight breaks the all-male stigma and features female members.
Denver has already made a major name for itself with the badass, indigenous rage-themed Of Feather and Bone, and tonight proves that once again, this is the place to be to hear death metal beyond the one-note, predictable, norm.
