Resurrected from the ’90’s underground, L.A.’s DFL, aka Dead F*cking Last, has announced the reissuing of their debut album My Crazy Life out August 11 via Trust Records. Consisting of original members Monty Messex, Adam Horovitz (aka Ad-Rock), and Skater “Crazy Tom” Davis, the hardcore group turned heads in 1994 with their debut album, which was released off of the Beastie Boys’ own Grand Royal Records.

Now, 29 years after the album’s release, the group is ready to reignite the energy and magnetism that was felt when My Crazy Life was first heard by fans. The album is remastered by original producer Mario Caldato Jr. and is the first time the album will be released on a 12-inch vinyl.

The reissue also includes expanded art, unreleased pictures, and a 10,000-word oral history of the band that pulls from interviews with the band members as well as Grand Royal Records executives and other contributors from the scene.

In celebration of the rerelease, the band has shared an original video for the album’s hit single “Pizzaman” which includes unseen footage of the original lineup performing in 1993 at the Beastie Boys’ G-Son Studios in L.A.

My Crazy Life is available to preorder now.
