Drew Davies

Drew Davies releases his sophomore, dark rock synth album Holloway Nights along with its lead single by the same name. Fans of contemporary luminaries like Bleachers, Creeper, and Big Black Delta will feel at home with Davies new work.

“The themes on this album are love, loss, and hope for a better future,” Davies explains. “The album acts as a musical snap shot of my life over the past few “

The album is incredibly vibrant, laced with funk licks and heavy doses of textural electronics. You can hear the influence of numerous alt rock giants from past and present. Influences like Bowie, Faith No More, and Talk Talk are clear in Davies work.

“I produced this record with the help of some great friends in my old apartment on the junction of Holloway and Camden Road; it was mainly written and recorded at night. With Joe Meek’s Telstar Studios constantly within view, I tried to channel that experimental spirit into the creation of this record,” Davies concludes,

Davies music is turning heads, earning spins from BBC DJs, while finding its way on numerous, major streaming playlists. He’s performed everywhere, from clubs across London to the popular Download Festival. Holloway Nights will clearly open more doors.

The album was mixed by Danny Woodward of Whitewood Recordings and mastered by Graeme Lynch. Watch out for more music from Davies here.
