The mighty return of Dropkick Murphys’ St. Patrick’s Day Tour in 2022 kicks off today in Reading, PA, with support from The Bombpops and The Rumjacks.
Keeping the tradition of back-to-back years of widely-viewed and highly-acclaimed livestream shows, following 2020’s “Streaming Up From Boston” and 2021’s “St. Patrick’s Day Stream 2021…Still Locked Down’,”the 22-date run culminates with the band’s customary run of St. Patrick’s Day week hometown shows in Boston, MA—including three shows at House Of Blues and one at Roadrunner.
Special guests The Bombpops and The Rumjacks will join Dropkick Murphys for most shows on the tour, with Jim Lindberg of Pennywise also confirmed as a special guest for the March 20 Boston show.
Dropkick Murphyscreleased their tenth studio album, Turn Up That Dial, via their own Born & Bred Records, in April 2021.
From August through mid-October of 2021, the band returned to the road for their first live shows since the pandemic began, touring the U.S. with Rancid on the co-headlining Boston To Berkeley II Tour, which also featured performances at Riot Fest in Chicago and Aftershock in Sacramento.
