Seven years ago in Los Angeles, Dusters California and Girl is NOT a Four-Letter Word released a skateboard that would stand as a testament to women in the skate scene.
To commemorate this special anniversary, Dusters & GN4LW have reissued their iconic board led by an all-female creative team. the team built an entire campaign promoting inclsion and acceptance.
The campaign features skater Janthavy Norton with music by the Anti-Queens. This short was filmed at the famous Mt. Baldy, the resident skating spot outside of L.A. since the 70s.
The board got an update featuring Cindy’s original artwork and lettering done in neon and metallic ink. For the new version, the grip tape was changed to bright pink with a black skull. The board also features gold Tensor 6.0’ trucks, and iridescent pink 62mm x 51 mm 83A wheels with an embedded skull.
