Singer and songwriter Eliza McLamb releases a new song titled “16.” It comes in preparation for her upcoming album Going Through It. That drops on January, 19.
If “16” is any reflection of what’s the come, the music world needs to sit up and take notice of McLamb. Her sharp song writing is autobiographical and incredibly heart wrenching. Engineer Sarah Tudzin (illuminati hotties) crafted the album, adding the same, magical touch that she sprinkled on a recent boygenius record.
And the message in “16” couldn’t be more personal. McLamb sings about a traumatic, childhood memory. She witnessed her mother check into the hospital with a mental illness and experienced the challenges that followed.
McLamb’s tear-jerking account of the experience is incredibly personal and well crafted. The tune cements the solo artist as one to watch in 2024.
