Melvinator, which is the punk/EDM solo project of NOFX founding member Eric Melvin, recently announced his new album The Rise of the Melvinator would be released on May 12 on NOFX frontman Fat Mike’s latest label, Bottles to the Ground Records.
With the announcement of the new album came the release of the single and video for “Regaining Unconsciousness,” which is a reworking of a NOFX song from their 2003 album The War on Errorism. “I am so thankful for the love and support for the first ever Melvinator single, ‘American Errorist’ from last year,” says Melvin. “This exciting journey continues with this next release, ‘Regaining Unconsciousness’ one of my favorite NOFX tracks. The lyrics are as relevant today as ever, and the Melvinator version was such a blast to create. I can’t wait to share it!”
