New England extreme metal unit, Escuela Grind, has announced a summer tour of Canada in support of their celebrated new LP, Memory Theater. The group will align with The Acacia Strain and Fit for an Autopsy for a 14-city run that will kick off on June 29 for a few dates in the states, and will run through Canada until July 15 (full dates below).
The band states: “We’re really excited to embark on our most extensive tour of Canada to date alongside The Acacia Strain and Fit For An Autopsy. We expect our blend of hardcore, grind, and death metal will connect well with everyone and we know we’re gonna see y’all dancing every night!”
Escuela Grind is currently in the midst of a seven-week North American trek which runs through June 17 in Cleveland, OH. The tour sees the fast-rising group crisscrossing the continent, mixing headlining live performances with special guest appearances as support for former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato.

Escuela Grind’s Memory Theater LP was released last September via MNRK Heavy (High on Fire, Crowbar) and features nine tracks of sharp, scorching underground music that rages and rips in equal measure. The new LP is seven minutes shorter than Slayer’s Reign In Blood, but with a few songs running past the three-minute mark, it’s downright epic by grindcore norms. The album was met with scads of fan and critical acclaim, and landed on oodles of year-end ‘best of’ lists.
