Blackened power metal project Exiled Hope has released their new single “Altar Of Moloch,” off of their upcoming third album Apocrypha.

Multi-instrumentalist Sofia Frasz formed the project in 2019. The artist is influenced by a wide variety of musicians such as Avantasia, Nightwish, Kamelot, and Cradle Of Filth. All her albums depict stories that happen in the same fictional universe, and together, they combine into a dark fantasy metal opera. The new record, Apocrypha, will be released in mid-2024.

Sofia shares her thoughts about the album:
“Though the upcoming album has its lighter and softer moments, its defining quality is a much deeper dive into doom and black metal. It has a more gothic, ethereal feel, since much of the album deals with the world that bridges the living and the dead.”
