Orlando alternative rock and pop-punk band Felicity releases its newest song “Lovesick Blues.” The beautiful tune is one of the Orlando native’s best.
“’Lovesick Blues’ is one of our favorite songs we’ve written. We feel like it’s one of those timeless songs accessible to all generations’,” the band says.
Felicity is in the middle of one of its best years, recently joining Between You & Me on a cross-country tour. The Florida natives also performed at its first Chicago show earlier in May. It’s tough to categorize Felicity, with its ability to touch different corners of the scene.
“Many of our songs are geared toward a specific demographic,” the band added. “Our heavier songs might be for metal heads or a pop-punk anthem for the Warped Tour purist, but with ‘Lovesick Blues’ we feel like it could be played on the radio, in a department store, or sung in the shower.”
The track “Lovesick Blues” is a unique one for Felicity as the band touches on a subject its avoided.
“We’re so proud of it! We’ve never written a love song before, so this was entirely new. We have songs that are inspired by relationships, but if you want to be a real band, then you gotta have a classic love song. So we’re happy to hit this milestone.”
Felicity has big plans in 2024. You can follow the band’s work here.
