News: Filth Is Eternal Release Video For New Single “Cherish”

With the release of their new album Find Out only days away, Seattle hardcore punk instigators Filth Is Eternal are offering one last taste of new music before the full album drops on September 29 via MNRK Heavy.

“Cherish” sees the band channeling their grungier inspirations, putting a punk twist on a Cantrell-inspired lead riff. The single is accompanied by a video directed by frontperson Lis Di Angelo themselves.

Of the video, Di Angelo states: “I wanted to mash two of my favorite things together, Black Box Theater and Lynchian Style, and marry that with something I overheard a stranger say that has occupied space in the back of my mind for years: ‘This is all a dream, and you will spend the entirety of your existence at the center of a push-pull event, somewhere between owning this dream and this dream owning you.'”
