“Having the opportunity to join forces with Flogging Molly for Shamrock Rebellion is an absolute honor. I know this St. Patrick’s weekend celebration is going to be one for the books! I look forward to raising a pint and celebrating with Flogging Molly. Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, we’ll see you out there!”

Flogging Molly started out as a house band in Los Angeles for Molly Malone’s and ended up becoming a staple in the punk scene over the past 20-plus years. Their most recent album, Anthem, dropped in September of 2022 via Rise Records. This album allowed for them to reunite with legendary engineer, Steve Albini.

In support of Anthem, Flogging Molly released four music videos, including a track and clip for “A Song of Liberty,” which was penned by King as a recounting a dark period in Irish history, but made even more relevant with the events in Ukraine. The music video for “A Song of Liberty” was created by The Mad Twins, Ukrainian animators and filmmakers.

On recent tours, Flogging Molly have been brought to many different historic locations including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Austic City Limits Live at The Moody Theater, and the band’s annual St. Patrick’s Day at the Hollywood Palladium. They also conduct the annual Salty Dog Cruise that sets sail November 8 has already sold out.
