New England punk rock/hardcore band Four Year Strong have announced a special deluxe edition of their latest album Brain Pain. The release features two new songs and three new acoustic versions of key singles from the record. The deluxe edition will be released through Pure Noise Records on December 10. In honor of the release, the band recently just revealed one of the new songs, “Pipe Dream,” as a single.
Vocalist/guitarist Dan O’Connor states: “I love this song. ‘Pipe Dream’ has a lot of elements that we don’t usually do in FYS songs. I love how aggressive it’s while staying simple and to the point. When we were writing this song, we wanted something that was fast, aggressive but all lead to this very euphoric-feeling-bridge. Playing this song live will be a ton of fun, and I can’t wait to hear the words screamed back at us.”
