Syracuse, NY hardcore heavy-hitters Freya have unveiled the hammering title track off of their upcoming full-length Fight As One, out September 22 via Upstate Records.
“Fight As One” fires off with a hard-hitting, classic NYHC energy, and the veteran-status vocals of Freddie Cricien (Madball) only solidify that, leaving a lasting impact.
Of the new single, the band state: “From our perspective things are undeniably and unusually chaotic in recent times. ‘Fight as One’ is an acknowledgment of that reality. Lyrically, the song is about how hard times strengthen the true friendships. Freddy Madball put the jewel in the crown on this track for us with a block of hard-hitting lyrics and one of the most powerful voices in all of hardcore.”
In addition to Freddie Cricien (Madball), Freya are joined on the new album by other legendary hardcore frontmen, Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) on “Sense of Doom” and Scott Vogel (Terror) on “Thousand Yard Stare.”
