The NorCal Punk dudes in Get Dead have announced a new record titled Dancing With the Curse. It will be out October 9, 2020 via Fat Wreck Chords. It will be their third album overall and first since 2016’s Honesty Lives Elsewhere.

Get Dead has also premiered a new single, “Disruption” which you can check out here:

You know the drill, a little ska, a little skate punk, with some hip hop influences (if you’re really really listening). It’s what you’d expect from a bunch of knucklehead punks hailing from the northern regions of the Golden State.

Get Dead’s new album Dancing With the Curse was produced by D-Composers (Fat Mike, Johnny Carey, Baz Bastien, Yotam Ben Horin) and Chris Dugan (Green Day). On working with Chris Dugan, vocalist King says, “Chris did an amazing job. It sounded great, and we were super psyched on it.” And on working with Fat Mike, King offered, “Mike knows how to keep us on track with our stuff and just call us on our bullshit. I’m glad that he and those boys had us do what we did to it because it got way better. But it’s been a long journey for sure.”

Does this sound up your alley? Cool. They also have a bundle for the album which includes a facemask to protect against COVID, cooties, and facial recognition software. You can preorder the mask package here.
