News: Gold Steps Release ‘Love Song’

Milwaukee’s Gold Steps are celebrating a big month with the announcement of a new show, noting the band’s seventh birthday and releasing a new track titled “Love Song.”

The release, which fittingly coincided with Valentine’s Day, was their first new song following a busy 2022. The band released their electric debut album That Ain’t It and played at venues across the country.

Featuring the stunning vocals of singer Liz Mauritz, a delightful guitar riff and the pleasantly liberal use of symbols, “Love Song” perfectly soundtracks everything from the holiday for lovers (and sometimes haters) to a summer day at the beach. It’s the obvious addition to your pop-punk playlist.

Gold Steps have a big show coming up, opening for the The Dollyrots at the X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, Wisconsin on March, 11. You can find tickets for the show here.
