News: Growing Fires Releases Acoustic EP

Canadian alternative rock band Growing Fires release a touching acoustic rendition of their recent EP All The Same But Different. The three-song collection may be a stripped-down version of the original, but it packs the same emotional punch.

“Growing Fires sounds reminiscent of a country side drive accompanied by life long friends who enjoy the journey and not just the destination,” the band describe.

Each song on All The Same But Different adds an element to the EP. “Ten Feet Tall” is a bouncy pop track with a melodic chorus. “Sunshine & Broken Bottles” showcases edge, a sub-genre blending anthem with serious Dance Gavin Dance vibes. “Growing Fires” reflects a warm, homely vibe jam packed with nostalgia.

The band are catalyzed by the stellar vocals of Jeremy Farkas, Travis Alguire pushing out the steady bass, Bentley Roy providing catching melodies on guitar, and Nic Zevenbergen pacing the band on the drums.

“Growing Fires is a story waiting to be shared, and an experience ready to be had,” the band continues

The EP was recorded in Toronto by Anton DeLost (Cleopatrick, Silverstein) pulling in more than 100,000 streams to date. Keep a close eye on the band here.
