The Melvins have released “The Great Good Place,” the fourth single from their upcoming Melvins 1983 release, Working With God, out February 26 through Ipecac Recordings.

Working With God features the 1983 iteration of The Melvins: Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, and original drummer Mike Dillard. The 13-track album includes previous pre-release singles: “I Fuck Around” (a re-imagined cover of The Beach Boys’ “I Get Around”), “Caddy Daddy,” and “Brian, The Horse-Faced Goon.”

The release of “The Great Good Place” comes along with an announcement for the group’s Valentine’s Day (February 14) livestreaming event, dubbed “Divine Monkeyshines: Valentine’s Day Special.”

The holiday-themed event comes hot on the heels of the band’s New Year’s Eve livestream debut, combining a musical performance with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band members—Osborne, Crover, and Steven McDonald. Tickets and exclusive merchandise are available for purchase here.

On the anticipation surrounding “Divine Monkeyshines: Valentine’s Day Special,” Obsourne says:

“Round two of Melvins TV! Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Five different songs plus band interviews and other cool stuff. All this fine entertainment for only $5.”
